Maruti Suzuki’s 2026 Brezza facelift has been spotted testing, featuring a new 6-speed manual gearbox option alongside the existing 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. The compact SUV, India’s top-seller in its segment, aims to counter rivals like Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue with refreshed styling and tech upgrades, expected launch in H1 2026.
Design Changes
Spy shots from Manali reveal sharper LED headlamps and tail-lamps, revised bumpers for a muscular look, and new 16-inch swirl-pattern alloy wheels. The overall silhouette remains similar, but blacked-out elements enhance its premium appeal.
Interior and Features
Expect a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, upgraded audio, and richer materials. Safety boosts include Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, AEB), HUD, 360-camera, six airbags, ESP, and hill-hold.
Powertrain Updates
The 1.5L K15C smart hybrid petrol engine (103 PS, 137 Nm) continues, now with a 6-speed manual spied. CNG variant gets an underbody tank for more boot space. Mileage should improve slightly over the current 19-20 kmpl.
Expected Pricing and Rivals
Prices may rise Rs 20,000-50,000 from Rs 8.7-14.1 lakh (ex-showroom). It targets Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3XO, and Skoda Kylaq in the sub-4m SUV space.
