India’s men’s T20 cricket team advanced to the gold-medal match after defeating Sri Lanka by 124 runs in the semifinal.
The Indian team, led by Shreyas Iyer, produced a strong all-round performance at Korogi Sports Park. India will face Pakistan in the final, scheduled for Sunday.
Sailing Adds Silver Medal
Indian sailors Manu Francis and Prince Noble won silver in the men’s skiff event.
Their second-place finish added another medal to India’s campaign and marked India’s first sailing medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

In wrestling, Nitesh Siwach advanced to the Greco-Roman 97kg final after defeating Mongolia’s Gankhuyag Ganbaatar 9-0, securing another medal opportunity for India.
