Prime Minister Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY), launched as part of the government’s employment package, offers direct financial incentives to new workforce entrants and employers, targeting over 3.5 crore jobs by July 2027. Running from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027, with a ₹9,446 crore outlay via EPFO, it empowers youth entering formal employment for the first time.

Benefits for Employees (Part A – First Timer)

First-time EPF-covered workers earning up to ₹1 lakh/month receive up to ₹15,000 one-time aid in two installments: first after 6 continuous months, second after 12, directly via DBT to Aadhaar-linked accounts—easing the initial learning curve.

Incentives for Employers (Part B)

Employers creating sustained additional jobs get monthly subsidies for 2 years (4 years in manufacturing): up to ₹10,000 (₹1L salary bracket), ₹20,000 (₹20k bracket), or ₹3,000 (above ₹20k) per new hire, paid semi-annually after 6 months retention. Firms with <50 employees need 2 new jobs; ≥50 need 5, based on pre-August 2025 baseline averages.

Eligibility and Impact

Open to exempted establishments too, it promotes formalization, skilling, and manufacturing growth—ideal for fresh graduates and small businesses hiring amid economic expansion. Registration via EPFO portals ensures seamless payouts, fulfilling Viksit Bharat’s job creation vision.
