Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, where his Land Rover SUV clipped a truck while passing at high speed and flipped onto its side. The 15-time major champion crawled out unharmed and cooperated with authorities.

Impairment Signs and Tests

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek noted Woods showed “signs of impairment” despite a Breathalyzer reading of 0.00, suggesting medication or drugs. He refused a urinalysis, leading to charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to testing.

Crash Details

The incident occurred near Woods’ home on a 30 mph road; no other injuries reported. He spent eight hours in jail before bail. This marks his second DUI-related arrest, following a 2017 reckless driving plea tied to painkillers.
