There is more to a relationship than love. Research suggests the high -voltage impact it has on one’s mental state of health on a daily basis. And if the relationship is more peaceful and understanding, then the joy it gives is like a double lottery.
So, are we ready to win it?
The graph of expectations is one of the biggest culprits of breakups. The lower the graph, the higher the results. A second vital factor is space. No, it’s not the space we have at home, it is the one we forget to give when we are closely connected to the other person. A friend, a companion, a sibling can go through ‘the space issue’ in life and spoil it with suffocation. Hence, space is a must.
Over interference in each other’s family ,matters, bank accounts and decision making may echo like a normal behavioural pattern but these trivial issues can have unwanted, negative influence on the joy we are trying to uphold. Like we draw a line to make borders on a piece of paper, drawing these imaginary lines in one’s own mind is a permanent fixture to temporary hurdles in life.
And if we come to know that joyous relationships can work wonders for our personal development, won’t we try harder to maintain it?
Like a sapling looking out for the daily dose of water to grow up into a mature plant, the learning within the mind shouldn’t stop at a comfortable junction. We can pause, take a deep breath, enjoy the moment and keep moving. The more we move, the newer our experiences, the greater our chances for leading a fuller life.
If the chances of happiness is extremely high, if the fifty percent solution is in our own hands, then we must find the time, the love and the interest to have a go at it. Because these days, we perceive happiness as a rare yet essential element. What we forget is the reality that the key to happiness lies in our own hands. Are we trying enough?
