The Delhi government will introduce the Pink National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) on Monday, March 2, 2026, offering free bus rides for women across DTC services while enabling tap-and-go access to metro, RRTS, and other transport via one smart card.

Launch Details

President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the scheme at the “Sashakt Nari, Samriddh Delhi” event in Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The pink card targets Delhi women residents, verified via Aadhaar and mobile, replacing paper pink tickets for digital, transparent travel.

Card Types and Access

Three variants include Pink (free for women), Blue (general users), and Orange (monthly passes), with Pink and Blue rolling out first. Issuance at 50 centers like DM offices and DTC depots requires minimal docs; providers are MufinPay and Airtel Payments Bank.

Benefits

Free DTC travel cuts costs, boosts access to jobs, education, and healthcare. Fully government-funded, it integrates with fare systems for seamless use on paid services, promoting women-friendly, cashless mobility.
