An Israeli Air Force F-35I “Adir” stealth fighter shot down an Iranian Yak-130 combat trainer over Tehran skies today, marking the first-ever air-to-air kill of a manned aircraft by an F-35 platform.

Dogfight Details

The Yak-130 was scrambling to intercept Israeli Hermes-900 drones when intercepted and destroyed by the F-35I amid expanded IDF strikes on Basij paramilitary HQs, internal security centers, and missile launchers in Tehran. IDF confirmed the engagement at 10:30 AM IST, with no Israeli losses reported.

Iranian media silent so far, but the jet—Russian-made, used for advanced training and light attack—was one of few IRIAF assets operational despite heavy attrition.

Escalation Timeline

This aerial victory follows Khamenei’s death, Hormuz closure, and strikes on Assembly of Experts buildings in Qom/Tehran, as Mojtaba Khamenei eyes succession. Israel targets IRGC control infrastructure to disrupt regime stability, with 800+ Iranian deaths since conflict ignited.

India’s Vigilance Peaks

MEA’s control room aids 1,109 sailors on 37 trapped ships, 25-day reserves hold firm sans price hikes, and Modi’s diplomacy secures Russia/Gulf energy amid Putin’s de-escalation bid. Flight resumptions continue.
