Major Siddharth Rathore (Retd.), inspired by his uncle Brigadier Saurabh Singh Shekhawat, became the first officer directly commissioned into the Indian Army’s Para Special Forces (12th Battalion, Parachute Regiment). Serving over a decade, he mastered close combat, modern warfare, high-risk operations, and threat analysis.

Seamless Military-to-Corporate Shift

Post-retirement, Rathore joined Adani Group in Ahmedabad as Deputy General Manager (Security), leading teams of ex-military personnel to protect high-value assets, including Chairman Gautam Adani. He applies military precision to corporate governance, aligning security with business continuity in India’s Rs 90,000 crore private security sector.

Thriving in New Role

Over 30% of large Indian firms now hire ex-defense officers like Rathore for senior security posts, valuing their expertise. He maintains soldier spirit through skydiving, testing mental resilience amid protecting strategic corporate pillars akin to national interests.
