Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi extended his flawless 2026 MotoGP season with victory at the Circuit of the Americas, securing his third consecutive win and fifth straight overall dating back to last year. The Italian led all 20 laps, reclaiming the championship lead with commanding authority.

Record-Breaking Performance

Bezzecchi set a MotoGP record with 121 consecutive laps led across races, finishing 2.036 seconds ahead of teammate Jorge Martin. Starting P2 behind polesitter Fabio Di Giannantonio, he seized control immediately as the Ducati faded to fifth.

Podium Finishers

Jorge Martin (P2) and Pedro Acosta (P3, from P8 after sprint penalty) completed the all-Italian top three. Di Giannantonio recovered to P4 ahead of Marc Marquez, while Pecco Bagnaia dropped to 10th late.

Season Context

Bezzecchi’s Thailand and Brazil triumphs made this his third straight GP win. The Aprilia 1-2 showcased factory dominance, positioning the Rimini rider as early title favorite with perfect execution at COTA.
