Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Odisha on Friday morning to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects totaling Rs 3,275 crore, alongside key ceremonial events.

Packed Itinerary

Shah arrives in Bhubaneswar around 10:15 AM, originally slated for Thursday evening. He will inaugurate 69 projects worth Rs 1,159.03 crore and lay foundation stones for 130 projects valued at Rs 2,116.06 crore. The schedule includes the CISF raising day ceremony in Cuttack’s Mundali area, lasting about two hours.

Industrial and Forensic Launches

Post-CISF, Shah heads to Paradip to inaugurate IFFCO’s new sulphuric acid plant and address a gathering, touching on dairy, youth empowerment, and farmers’ welfare. He will lay the foundation for the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) campus in Khurda’s Jatani, virtually opening NFSU’s Bhubaneswar transit campus.

At IDCO Exhibition Ground, Shah launches cooperation department programs like infrastructure for 141 PACS, RCS Office Portal, D2C portal of National Cooperative Organics Limited, “Coop Marque,” and AI platform “Savidya.” He will also inaugurate a Naveen Nyaya Samhita exhibition on new criminal laws, with MoUs signed. Security is heightened across Khurda, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur, with traffic curbs in Bhubaneswar.
