TVK Faces Test in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu’s Madurantakam and Dharapuram constituencies are key contests for Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). The party re-nominated former AIADMK legislators who joined TVK after the Assembly election. Early reports indicated TVK leads in Madurantakam, while Dharapuram remained closely contested.
Puducherry Counting Underway
In Thattanchavady, Puducherry, early Election Commission data showed AINRC candidate Ashok Anand leading. The contest also includes candidates from Congress and the DMK.
