Consistent Excellence Across CISCE Board

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for 2026, with overall pass percentages remaining above 99% in both examinations.

The results reflect continued academic consistency, with lakhs of students successfully clearing the exams across schools in India and abroad.

Girls Maintain Performance Edge

Female students once again outperformed boys in both ICSE and ISC examinations, continuing a trend observed over the past several years.

In ICSE (Class 10), girls recorded a pass percentage of around 99.46%, compared to approximately 98.93% for boys.

Similarly, in ISC (Class 12), girls achieved nearly 99.48%, marginally ahead of boys at around 98.81%.

The consistent gap highlights stronger academic outcomes among female candidates across both levels.

High Participation, Stable Outcomes

This year, around 3.6 lakh students appeared for the examinations, including over 2.5 lakh candidates in ICSE and more than 1 lakh in ISC.

The sustained pass percentage above 99% indicates stability in academic performance, with only marginal variations compared to previous years.

Digital Access to Results

Students can access their results through:

  • Official CISCE website
  • CAREERS portal
  • DigiLocker platform

The board has continued its digital-first approach, ensuring smooth and immediate access to scorecards.

Trend Reflects Strong Academic Ecosystem

The results reinforce a broader trend within CISCE examinations—high success rates combined with consistent gender-based performance patterns.

Experts note that the stability in pass percentages reflects:

  • Structured evaluation systems
  • Improved academic preparedness
  • Strong institutional performance across regions

Focus Shifts to Next Academic Phase

With results declared, students will now move towards the next stage—higher education choices for Class 12 graduates and stream selection for Class 10 students.

The 2026 results once again underline a key reality of India’s school education landscape: high-performing systems are increasingly defined by consistency, accessibility, and evolving student outcomes.
