Pakistan Women and Bangladesh Women will meet in the bronze medal match of the Asian Games 2026 women’s cricket tournament on September 22 at Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin.

Pakistan Enter Bronze Match After Semi-Final Loss
Pakistan reached the bronze medal match after losing their semi-final against Sri Lanka by eight wickets.
Pakistan posted 177/4 after Ayesha Zafar scored 71 and Shawaal Zulfiqar made 54. Sri Lanka, led by an unbeaten 83 from Chamari Athapaththu, chased down the target in 17.5 overs.
The result ended Pakistan’s hopes of competing for gold and moved them into the bronze-medal contest.
Bangladesh Also Miss Gold-Medal Match
Bangladesh will enter the contest after a heavy semi-final defeat against defending champions India.
India scored 195/4, powered by Shafali Verma’s unbeaten 100 from 49 balls, before Bangladesh were bowled out for 81. India won by 114 runs and advanced to the gold-medal match against Sri Lanka.
The bronze match therefore gives both Pakistan and Bangladesh an opportunity to finish the tournament with a medal.
