Economic and Supply Chain Focus

With 90% of LPG imports from West Asia disrupted by Hormuz blockades, the PM highlighted seven empowered inter-ministerial groups addressing short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for energy security, inflation control, and fertilizer availability. Strategic reserves provide 60+ days coverage, refineries run at 100% capacity.

Diplomatic and Resilience Push

Modi invoked COVID-era unity, stressing India’s strong economic fundamentals and diplomatic outreach to Iran, Israel, GCC states, and the US for de-escalation. States were tasked with public communication to counter panic and ensure minimal disruption to daily life.
