CM Interacts Directly with Citizens
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan programme in Gorakhpur on Monday, where he met members of the public and listened to their grievances. The outreach initiative, conducted at the Gorakhnath Temple premises, provided citizens with an opportunity to directly present their concerns to the Chief Minister.
During the interaction, people from different parts of the region approached the Chief Minister with complaints and requests related to public services, welfare schemes, healthcare assistance, and local administrative issues. The programme is part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s ongoing effort to strengthen direct communication between citizens and the administration.
Officials Directed to Ensure Swift Resolution
After hearing the grievances, Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to take prompt action and ensure time-bound redressal of complaints. He emphasized that public issues should be handled with sensitivity, transparency, and accountability, directing the administration to avoid unnecessary delays in resolving genuine concerns.
The Chief Minister has consistently used Janata Darshan programmes as a platform to monitor governance at the grassroots level and ensure that citizens receive the benefits of government schemes without hurdles. Officials present at the event were asked to follow up on individual cases and provide necessary assistance wherever required.
Focus on Welfare and Public Service Delivery
The Janata Darshan initiative remains a key component of the Uttar Pradesh government’s public outreach strategy. Previous sessions have seen the Chief Minister address issues related to healthcare, housing assistance, land disputes, and law-and-order concerns, often issuing on-the-spot directions to authorities.
The latest programme in Gorakhpur once again highlighted the administration’s emphasis on direct engagement with citizens and effective grievance redressal. By interacting personally with residents and reviewing their concerns, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to responsive governance and public welfare.
