The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government headed by V. D. Satheesan officially assumed office on Monday after a grand swearing-in ceremony at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The new ministry includes 20 ministers representing Congress and key UDF alliance partners.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by senior Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Mallikarjun Kharge.
